Please tell me that you woke up, but you wanted to be saved from a life without love; you stayed for yourself.
Remember who you are. Whom your mother made you. What your father taught you.
... as I watch your skin start to fade to blue, and your lungs fall short of air, but I know that smile keeps you floating above the tide that closes in.
So tell me that your mind’s made... so tell me that you will stay and I know you’ll be safe, and I know you’ll be strong in the heart you have.
I know inside your head it may be dark, but I’m near. The people in this world all played a part keeping you here.
Who were you before; before they broke your heart?
You mean something to me.
From Myself.
about
To Myself,
Please tell me that you woke up, but you wanted to be saved from a life without love; you stayed for yourself.
Remember who you are. Whom your mother made you. What your father taught you.
Remember the nights that you couldn’t dream, the days that you didn’t want to see, the nights that made it harder to breathe.
Please be safe, be strong like the person I know you are - with a heart so pure and a mind so bold. Please don’t stay silent, please don’t turn cold... as I watch your skin start to fade to blue, and your lungs fall short of air, but I know that smile keeps you floating above the tide that closes in.

One of Paddy and Will's favourite records right here. That polyrhythmic quintuplet synth at the start of Arcs of Command into a 3/4 turn around. That's what we're talking about! Lonesome
One of our albums of 2018 for sure! Some of the musical ideas in this are so innovative. The guitar break in Waxwing that completely changes the feel of the track is why music is just the best. Lonesome
How could we not include this record? Quiet is THE track that got me (Will) into this genre. It really is a record that can stand the test of time. Lonesome
Knotty post-rock from Corde that flirts with ambient and electronic music, layering strings atop glitchy electronics. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 29, 2024
This DC shoegaze group work like fog, bringing in ephemeral melodic layers that swirl together to become something surprisingly heavy. Bandcamp New & Notable May 23, 2018
